Test Requirements:
• Graduate from an approved program (proof of completion is
required)
• Or have 2 or more years of work experience and be currently
working in that field . (Candidates must provide proof of
employment/experience and a high school diploma or equivalent. Letters
of employment are verified.)
• Must be monitored/proctored while taking the exam at an
approved AMCA test site.
• Fully Completed AMCA Registration Form

The AMCA encourages all instructors to challenge the
AMCA Professional Healthcare Instructor and the
National Certification exam within their discipline.
Instructor feed back and support are a valuable aspect of

11 x 17 posters to display around your campus.

Exam Study Material
Study Material
The AMCA provides study material for all of our National
Certification Exams. A PDF of each study guide will be
sent to each campus director. We encourage the campus
director to forward the Study Guides to each instructor
for them to forward to students at the beginning
of each class.
Practice test:
For the Clinical Medical Assistant instructor we also have
a Practice test with 150 questions

Student Registration
Your facility has chosen to build the AMCA exam fee into your tuition, the
following registration procedure applies to your students:

Step 1: Registration forms will be emailed to each
campus director in a PDF format.
Step 2: Institution Personnel must distribute the
registration forms to each student to complete
2 WEEKS PRIOR to the scheduled exam date

Three Weeks Prior to Exam
Three weeks prior to each exam, the exam proctor will receive an email
confirming which exams and how many students are estimated to
challenge the AMCA exam.
This is a perfect time for us to get on the same page

I have attached the AMCA Student Registration Form. It is essential for each student to complete all necessary
information and submit prior to the exam. All completed registration forms can be faxed to 973-582.1801.

Three Days Prior to Exam
Three days prior to each exam, the exam proctor will receive a UPS package
that contains:

Completing Exams
Once the student(s) have completed the exams the proctor can
package up and ship back to the AMCA for grading:

Exam Results
Once the AMCA has received the exam
package it will be graded within three days.
The AMCA will then forward the results and
grade of each student to the assigned exam
proctor within one to three days.
All students tests results are reviewed
by the AMCA compliance department.
Exam Retakes: Cost only $59.00 and the student can retake
immediately. No waiting time.

Certificates and Cards
Once exam grades are entered into the AMCA
database, certificates, cards or failed letters
will be prepared and mailed within 10 days.
All certificates, cards and failed letters will be
sent via UPS to each campus director or
assigned staff member.
