Hispanic Heritage Month celebrates
the histories, cultures, and
contributions Hispanics have made to
our local community, state, and
nation. The period of September 15th
through October 15th is significant
because it is the anniversary of
independence for the Latin American
countries of El Salvador, Honduras,
Nicaragua, Guatemala, Costa Rica,
Chile and Mexico.
