INSTALLATION
The method of installation should conform to BS5325. For
details of subfloor preparation and a full guide to installation
visit: www.heckmondwike-fb.co.uk. Before laying Array tiles
should be allowed to condition for 24 hours at the expected
temperature and humidity levels. Array tiles should be laid
rotationally, alternating the direction of the tiles through 90°

As a UK manufacturer, Heckmondwike FB offers a wide range of heavy contract, fibre
bonded carpet and tiles along with a range of specialist entrance area carpet and tiles. Each
product range is available in a variety of colours and finishes providing durable, cost
competitive products that are the perfect choice for areas of heavy wear and tear in the
education sector, office environments, retail outlets, libraries, banks and similar.
Array
A range of 8.5mm thick bitumen backed 50 x 50 cm tiles manufactured with 85%
polypropylene and 15% polyamide. Designed for use in Heavy contract areas, Array is
available in 12 standard colourways.
Consult with Heckmondwike FB for technical literature and to obtain samples.
Preparation: This item can usually be deleted when the base is new and is mainly intended
for existing surfaces. Consult Heckmondwike FB Installation Guide for recommendations and
see clauses 460 to 520. Insert as appropriate.
Fabricated underlay: Plywood as clause 560. For use on timber floors only. Complete and
include clause 560.
