The Los Angeles Virtuosi Orchestra’s
mission is to serve as a catalyst in
reaffirming, advocating and supporting
music education in schools and in the
community.
The ensemble was formed on the core
belief that an orchestra is a unique
educational resource and has created
a new paradigm of giving, allocating
100% net revenue from subscription
performances to advance music
education.
LAV implements its outreach in
collaborative partnerships with the
community, schools, agencies and other
arts organizations, and puts into action
activities designed to advance student
learning, development and creativity.
The creation of an orchestra dedicated
to the support of music education has
been a lifelong dream, and I am thrilled to
share with you the musical wonders of the
Los Angeles Virtuosi Orchestra’s second
season at the Théâtre Raymond Kabbaz
as its’ orchestra-in- residence, as well
as an exciting mid-season performance
at LACMA’s Bing Theater as part of its’
Sundays Live concert series
Reflecting its mission to serve as a
catalyst in reaffirming, advocating and
supporting music education in schools
and in the community, the Los Angeles
Virtuosi Orchestra will allocate 100% net
profit from all subscription concerts at
the Théâtre Raymond Kabbaz towards
the advancement and support of music
education programs in its partner schools,
including the Lycée Français of Los
Angeles.
