are excited to have your school! The Atlanta Public Schools Athletic
Department is working hard to create a wonderful experience for your

HIGH SCHOOL SESSION
• 8:30 am – Gate opens for squad check-in
· 9:00 am – Main gate is open for spectators
· 8:45-9:45 am – Sound Check in main gym. Please send one person with CD for
sound check. Squads are NOT allowed to warm-up or mark routine on mats.
· No coaches’ meeting has been planned at this time. Head Judge will be available
prior to competition for questions. We will let you know if this changes.
· 10:00am – Competition begins
MIDDLE SCHOOL SESSION (Brief Intermission with start immediately following)
· Sound Check in main gym. Please send one person with CD for sound check.
Squads are NOT allowed to warm-up or mark routine on mats.
· No coaches’ meeting has been planned at this time. Head Judge will be available
prior to competition for questions. We will let you know if this changes.
Additional Information
* All times are approximate. Actual times will depend on the pace of the judging.
* Buses will unload in the front of the school and park in the lower football field
and tennis court area parking lots. Buses will need to enter the school at the
entrance next to the marquee. Staff will be outside to assist teams to the check-in
area (located in the main lobby).
* Spectators will park in the front parking lots of the school, and there is
additional parking in the lower football field and tennis court area.
*If competitors desire to have wrist/ankles taped by trainer on hand, please bring
your own pre-wrap & tape to First Aid Station (located in Auditorium Lobby).
* Please advise your parents that Goody Bags will need to be distributed to the
cheerleaders prior to or after the competition. We do not have the space to
accommodate this in the spectator seating area. They can have them in their
sectioned off area in the Auditorium.
* Parents and friends are not allowed anywhere except the gym lobby and the
main gym.
* Updated rotation schedule will be presented at check-in. Staff will be located in
all areas to assist with directions, etc…
*There will be a coaches’ hospitality room (Skybox area in main gym) and
water/oranges will be provided for the squads (in the recovery are) after they
compete.
*There will be a Jump Off & Tumble Off prior to awards for the High School
session & Middle School Session. The cost is $5 for one event, or $8 for both (per
participant). Registration will be located by the DJ booth.
*Each coach will receive their scores after awards are announced. They may be
picked up at the DJ booth.
*Admission is $7…Kids 8 years and younger Free
