This month’s speaker is Linda Bolon, representative of Project Coyote, a nonprofit group whose mission is to promote coexistence through education, science, and advocacy. For over 12 years, Linda has worked in community outreach. She will speak about coyote behavior, the beneficial role coyote’s play in our urban ecosystems, common causes of negative encounters and how to avoid them. Tips and tools for coexisting will also be presented. This speaker series will be held in the Nature Center classroom and is supported by Maricopa County Parks and the White Tank Mountains Conservancy.
