1. All flowers will be received Thursday, Sept. 22, 2016 from 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Judging starts at 12
noon by accredited judges using the Danish System.
2. Containers for horticulture furnished by Fair
3. Each exhibitor may make one entry in each arrangement class. Unlimited entries permitted in
horticulture provided varieties are not duplicated.
4. All horticulture must be grown by the exhibitor, but flowers in the arrangements section need not be.
5. Mats, figurines, candles and other accessories permitted.
6. Novice arrangement open to anyone who has not yet won over three blue ribbons in arrangements.
7. Ribbons will be awarded for best exhibits.
8. It is the responsibility of the exhibitor to identify flowers by class and lot before entering.
9. No artificial flowers, fruits or foliage will be accepted
10. Professional arrangements will be judged in a separate category. Please specify when entering;
professional (works at a job related to flowers, arrangements or a florist) novice
(anyone who has not received 3 blue ribbons, or first time arranging), or amateur(one who has entered
flowers and won more than 3 blue ribbons in arranging).
Note: The exhibitor needs to groom entries before entering. Grooming is discarding dead leaves or
blooms past their prime. Clean dust off leaves and have clean containers or flower pots.

Celebrate the USA using red, white and blue fresh flowers.

Dried arrangements using a John Deere tractor part as the container.
