Praise the Lord!
“I was glad when they said unto me, let us go into the house of the Lord!” Great things are
happening at Northeast Baptist Church and you are cordially invited to share in the excitement,
as we celebrate the Pastoral Installation of the Reverend Jonathan A. Mason, Sr., son of our
previous shepherd, the late Reverend Lee Mason, Jr.
The Pastoral Installation Service will be on Sunday, October 11, 2015 at 3:30pm with Rev.
Darrell Larue Armstrong, Pastor, Shiloh Baptist Church, Trenton, NJ as the guest preacher for
the afternoon. The service will follow our Sunday Morning Worship Service at 11:00am, with
Bishop Courtney Allen Jones, Pastor, Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, St. Louis, MO serving as
guest preacher.
The scripture for this great occasion is taken from the book of Numbers, Chapter 27, verses
16 and 17 (NIV):
“May the Lord, the God who gives breath to all living things, appoint someone over
this community to go out and come in before them, one who will lead them out and
bring them in, so the Lord’s people will not be like sheep without a shepherd.”
We encourage you and your family to be a part of this great moment in the history Northeast
Baptist Church as the next generation of leadership accepts his ordained position. A week-long
celebration leading up to the installation service will begin on Wednesday, October 7th at
7:00pm with the “Hour of Power” Bible Study, Revival Services on Thursday and Friday, October
8th and 9th at 7:30pm, and the Celebration Concert on Saturday, October 10th at 7:30pm.
To commemorate this historic moment, a souvenir journal (ad book) will be produced. We’re
hopeful that you will not only grace us with your presence, but support our cause by purchasing
an advertising space in the journal. Included with this letter is our Souvenir Journal Advertising
Packet, which includes a full description of our souvenir journal and a list of advertising
options. Feel free to share the packet with your family, friends and fellow church members.

white ads can be submitted.
