Recently the Day Service attended the Art Fair Launch @ Gatakers Art Space and wrote the following reviews on a piece of artwork of their choice; Trish chose: "On the Lagoon" a painting of ducks swimming on a lagoon. "i liked the painting because of the paint, the colours that were used and the ducks. the artist used lots of colours, including blues, pinks, greens and purples in the background. it made me feel happy and calm. it was painted with acrylic paint on canvas. Josh and Jordan chose: "Oldie day light" a painting of an old fashioned lantern, ash tray and pipe in a vintage setting. "We liked the image because unlike all of the other art works, this one was subdued and old fashioned.” The image was a photograph edited in sepia. The colours used were black, brown, yellow, white and some blue. Sez chose: Paper parasols, they did not have a name attatched. She liked the parasols as they were very different from all of the other art works - they were very bright and used a range of colours, such as blue, green, yellow, orange and pink. The parasols were painted with acrylic paint on thick paper like material.
