Halloween Acrostic Poem

Halloween Acrostic Poem
Haunted houses everywhere
Any way to scare
Long scary night
Looking like Monsters
Only to haunt
Weenies to scare
Ever so much candy
Evil sounds everywhere
Never gone without a scare!

The Rise of…
Kayleigh was walking through the
secret shortcut that led all the way to
her cottage. She lived with her mom
and her dad.
One day she went to go shopping for
her mum and she was walking down
the path when all of a sudden she saw
the most terrifying thing that she had
ever seen…
When she realised what is was she
screamed and ran as fast as she could.
The terrifying thing was slowly catching up to her…

Halloween Acrostic Poem
Happy times
A time to scare
Lots of candy for the kids
Like the night
Only scary things to see
Webs to find
Ever so mean
Everywhere there are monsters
No one likes the graveyards!

Chapter 1
The Awakening!
It was a crisp cool night with the sounds of laughing
coming from the neighbours` party but then it began
…!
I was so tired, face paint smudged across my face.
We`d just left our neighbours` bonfire party early
because my younger brother had been sick on
chocolate yet again!....
Suddenly I heard a scream from outside and an
ominous growling and banging. I looked outside…
There was blood spattered everywhere!
Then I noticed a mouldy blood covered
figure banging at the door. It looked
quite like an undead zombie!....

Halloween is a time of fun, little kids
Scream and run for the
excitement of
scares and tears.
I feel like I belong here
giving sweet till noon
and here little werewolves howl at the
moon oh what a great
life of mine.

Halloween Poem
Wherever I turn there are
people staring at me. I am
segregated just by the look of
me. What is wrong with
people, people stare all the
time but what is my crime to
howl every night at nine? My
fur stands up at the back of my
neck and then I shrink back to
normal size alas o am normal
well just for the time… what am
I? Aadam H Year 8
