that allowed a mix of finishes. The use of both polished and matt surfaces were inspired
by contemporary jewellery as well as architectural metal cladding.
USP: Clients have been requesting more choice in the same product area as some of
the Delightful chandeliers. We wanted to develop a product in classic finishes but with a
much more contemporary feel. The success of Facet has shown the popularity of the

Designers name: James Bartlett
Story behind the design: Inspired by the forms of ancient columns and
pillars, the traditional forms have been subverted so that the classical
scalloped detail encircles the interior of the shade. This detail can
therefore only be seen from certain angles, revealing a form that is not
unlike the crimped edge of a seashell. Special resin gives appearance of
marble, but is lightweight and translucent.
Story behind the name: The name Doric refers to an ancient Greek
order of architecture.
Doric
USP: An amazing price level that sits way below other marble look
shades but delivers greater options in size and finish.
