THE TILBURY/ZEEBRUGGE SHUTTLE
TILBURY TO ZEEBRUGGE TWICE A WEEK
London Container Terminal, Tilbury, in partnership with The Port of Zeebrugge now offers a regular
shuttle service between Tilbury, the closest Port to London, and The Port of Zeebrugge , Belgium.
Initially this twice weekly service, starting on the 1st October, will connect the Far East with the
main trade route for London and the South East of England, and present new
options for both imports and exports to reach the Asian markets.
Without any loss in transit time, and without the need to road goods long distances to reach their
destination, this also provides a great cost effective opportunity to reposition empty equipment.
The service is a result of a strategic agreement between the ports to offer Far East deep-sea transhipment opportunities and choice for customers to take advantage of both ports’ excellent
service and logistical connections.
