The Super Six Super Challenge
January 11-April 21, 2017
Grand Prize
One qualifying teacher will win a $1000 (one thousand dollars)
gift card for Carnival Cruise Line!
Special Instructions
Here are the rules and requirements to be considered a teacher of a qualifying class:
1. Each participating class must complete The Super Six Super Challenge tasks. These are tasks selected by the coaches. The list is on the
next page of this document. If you have a combo class, please select the lower grade level of the two.
2. Each participating class MUST complete one task per month during the months of January, February, March, and April (does not apply
to Edison during off track month). Any newly enrolled school must have one task per month of enrollment (and still meet The Super Six
Super Challenge requirement of getting all 6 tasks done).
3. The completion rate is 90% for feedback and qualification. You can not have a complete class "redo" as a qualifying task. If we ask you to
"try this one again", the revised responses will be what counts toward qualifying. We understand some students have a hard time, but if it
looks like the task was not taught (just assigned), we will ask for a redo!
4. The last day for submitting all of the tasks is April 21, 2017. Qualifying classes will be verified, and the teachers' names (of those classes)
will be put into a drawing. Only one chance per teacher will be entered into the drawing.
5. One grand prize winner's name will be drawn live on April 24th. Details for watching will come out as the date gets closer. The winner
will be announced on April 28, 2017. Note: The announcement date may change if there is a conflict with the winner’s testing schedule.
The specific announcement date will be decided with the help of the principal of the winning teacher. We will email any updates after
April 24th if this is an issue.
6. The winning teacher must agree to our use of his/her name and picture in our media documents, on the website, etc. The winner must
also agree to hold harmless Get Ahead Writing, LLC. Relatives of Get Ahead Writing, LLC’s contractors and Get Ahead Writing LLC’s current
(paid in 2017) contractors are not eligible to win. If you want to be excluded as a potential winner (or are excluded by this rule), please let
us know at [email protected].
Remember: For The Super Six Super Challenge, the work must be done for quality (not just speed). It is possible that a
class may be asked to “redo” a task before it counts toward meeting the challenge requirement. It’s best to just
teach each task to make sure that this does not happen. Do not just assign the tasks.
