What is “Chintaka”?
«Chintaka» is a shaved chocolate used for preparation of natural hot chocolate.
How did «Chintaka» originated?
«Chintaka» originated in Russia due to lack of natural ingredients for easy preparation of hot
chocolate on the Russian market. Creators of «Chintaka», true chocolate lovers themselves, set as a
goal creation of delicious, fully natural and easily cookable hot chocolate. The historical fact that
chocolate has originated in the Mayan civilization was taken as a basis of the brand concept.

How is «Chintaka» produced?
Shaved chocolate for preparation of hot chocolate «Chintaka» is produced from raw materials
originating from France, Belgium and Russia. Production is organized in accordance with highest
standards and on high-tech Italian equipment.
What is the fundamental difference of «Chintaka» from other hot chocolates that are
currently present on the market?
Presently various artificial components or press cake (cocoa powder) are typically used in the
production of hot chocolate mixtures.
In the first case this would be a 3-20 gr. mixture of artificial flavors, emulsifiers and stabilizers that is
supposed to dissolve in milk (or water). As a result consumer gets a milk beverage that tastes like
chocolate.
Press cake (cocoa powder) that is used in the second case is a product received from the cocoa mass
after extraction of cocoa butter (i.e. press cake is a secondary product of cocoa mass processing).
Cocoa powder can significantly improve the taste of the final product. However such product can not
be called completely natural as certain emulsifiers (substances used to blend together ingredients
which might not blend well on their own) are usually present in it to provide for dilution of the
powder in water or milk. Moreover such product does not have health benefits of natural chocolate as
all major chocolate valuable biologically active nutrients are contained in extracted cocoa butter.
«Chintaka» chocolate is a completely natural product that contains cocoa mass (and a cocoa butter as
a consequence). There are 60 gr. of shaved chocolate per portion. Thus the customer drinks chocolate
and not a beverage that just tastes like chocolate. Cooking method – melting of shaved chocolate in
milk, allows obtaining homogeneous chocolate mass, identical to what you get when you melt a
chocolate bar. It takes only one minute to cook «Chintaka» chocolate. The beverage is cooked on fire,
in microwave oven or using steam outlet of a coffee machine. The mixture does not require special
storage conditions.
See Table 1 for comparison of «Chintaka» shaved chocolate with other chocolate powders.
