Overview
Villa Romane is a spacious stone-built holiday villa in Provence with its own
magnificent Roman-style colonnaded circular swimming pool. The house is
superbly located, offering wonderful panoramic views of Provence and the
Rhone valley. It's just 1 mile (1.5 km) out of the historic medieval town of
Beaucaire, so there are restaurants, cafès, shops, supermarket and
boulangeries within walking distance.
The main villa can sleep 12 guests in its 6 double bedrooms. It also boasts 5
bath/shower rooms, 5 WCs, three large reception rooms and a fully fitted
kitchen. The standard of accommodation in this holiday rental is very high.
If you require extra, separate accommodation at Villa Romane we have now
completed a total restoration of our 'La Petite Villa Romane' which can
accommodate up to 3 extra guests in luxury and comfort.
The spectacular circular pool and poolside terrace is a real feature of this
fantastic French holiday villa, and coupled with the views from the terrace, can
only be described as paradise!
There is plenty to explore in this charming area of Provence, with beautiful and
historic towns such as Avignon, Nimes and Arles as well as the chic and
fashionable St. Remy de Provence all within a short driving distance!

Interior & Grounds
Main Villa Interior
The accommodation comprises a large entrance hall and sitting room, which
leads to the dining room, and through to the salon complete with TV, SKY and
DVD facilities. The comprehensively equipped kitchen will leave you wanting
for nothing. There are 6 double bedrooms, five bathroom/shower rooms (all
newly fitted) and 5 WCs. There is also a laundry room. The villa is bright and
airy with huge room and has Wi-Fi access.
Outside Grounds
Outside the circular roof terrace is accessed by internal staircase up from 1st
floor landing) with truly spectacular panoramic views. The terrace overlooks
the gardens and the landscape. The beautiful circular swimming pool was built
in the style of a Roman colonnaded arena and can be illuminated at night. The
pool is over 26 feet (8m) in diameter and semi-circular steps lead down into it.
The pool has a sun-terrace, a pool-side fully fitted summer kitchen and BBQ
area, boules pitch and a shaded pool-side summer lounge. Please note the
pool is open from May to October (inclusive).
La Petite Villa Romane Interior
It is a charming 1-bedroomed single-storey house which accommodates 1, 2
or 3 people. It is perfect for an older couple who may wish to have peace and
quiet, separate from, but near to the main villa; or for a romantic couple who
would like total privacy; or for a family of 3 (or possibly 4 - as there is a babycot); or to accommodate staff who travel with the family - for instance a nanny,
chauffeur, staff, secretary, personal assistant etc. where you need them to be
nearby, but like them to have separate accommodation.
'La Petite Villa Romane' has it's own 'petite' private garden and is tucked away
in the corner of the large garden of Villa Romane. It is not overlooked by the
main villa - or by any other properties. There is a spacious living room (and the
sofa converts to a double-width sofa-bed - thus creating 2 separate sleeping
rooms at night, if required ). There is a dining area and a kitchen corner (with a
sink, two-ring electric hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave oven,
cafetiere, toaster, electric kettle etc. etc ). The double bedroom has a large
double-bed which can be separated to make twin beds if preferred. There is a
spacious shower-room with a large shower cubicle, washbasin and WC. Our
'Petite Villa' is charmingly furnished and decorated in an authentic Provencal
style with beautiful tapestries adorning the walls. Both the living room and
bedroom have glazed double-doors opening directly out on to the shaded sunterrace and the secluded and totally private 'petite' garden.
Please note that we do not let 'La Petite Villa' as a separate booking - so if you
don't wish to rent it, rest assured that it will remain empty and won't be
occupied by any other visitors whilst you are in residence.

Location & Local Information
The villa is just 1 mile (1.5 km) out of the historic medieval town of Beaucaire,
so there are restaurants, cafès, shops, supermarket and boulangeries within
walking distance. Nimes and Avignon are both 20km away and Montpellier is a
mere 65km. The possibilities are endless at the Villa Romane!

Terms & Conditions
- Security deposit: £500 for parties of up to 8 guests, £1000 for larger parties. The security deposit is paid on arrival and will be refunded in full after departure subject to damage inspection.

- Departure time: 10.00
- Energy costs included?: Included in the rental price. There may be a charge for the low seasons.
- Linen & towels included?: All linen and towels are included in the rental price.
- Pets welcome?: by agreement.
- End of stay cleaning included?: Included in the rental price.
- Changeover day: Saturday.
- Smoking Allowed?: No smoking in the property.
- Insurance: It is recommended that all guests take out insurance to cover against potential cancellation and any accidental damage caused during your stay at the property.
- Other 2: You can enjoy the pool from 1st May through to 31st October.
