America`s ToothFairy

OUR
MISSION
To eliminate pediatric oral disease and promote
overall health and well being for millions of children
from vulnerable populations. We do this by being a
comprehensive resource provider for non-profit
community programs delivering critical preventive,
educational and treatment services.
OUR
Dear Friends,
INSPIRATION
Children who need the most and have the least are too often
overlooked, especially when it comes to oral health services.
They have been our driving force in the establishment and
growth of the National Children’s Oral Health Foundation: America’s ToothFairy (NCOHF). As EDUCATOR of
children and families on how to care for their smiles, PREVENTER of debilitating disease, and PROTECTOR of
vulnerable children, America’s ToothFairy provides a comprehensive approach to preventing the #1 chronic childhood
illness. Now reaching underserved populations in Canada as Canada’s ToothFairy, NCOHF is working diligently
throughout North America to rescue children from pain and protect young smiles.
Thanks to all of our dedicated supporters, volunteers and partners engaged in our smile-saving, child-saving mission,
NCOHF has helped provide over 1 MILLION children this year with vital oral health services. It is because of your
support that we are able to reach more children each year with the oral health education and quality care they so
desperately need.
Through our growing volunteer, service delivery and educational programs, NCOHF is engaging allied health
professionals, educators, business leaders, youth organizations and networks, parents, caregivers, high school, college and
professional students and children in the fight against dental disease. This past year, we expanded our partnership with
Boys & Girls Clubs of America and began laying the groundwork for the exciting America’s ToothFairy Youth
Mentoring Program and expansion of Students United with America’s ToothFairy, harnessing the power and motivation
of teen leaders to reach thousands of children with oral health education. With generous grant funding from the
DentaQuest Foundation, this year we are developing a national youth movement, providing young people with the
knowledge and educational tools they need to engage children and their peers in positive oral health behaviors.
How grateful we are to all of our dedicated partners who have joined us in our mission to protect young smiles and
rescue children from preventable pain. We couldn’t do it without you!
Sincerely,
Tom M. Prescott
