Nominee Profile Finance Investment and Property Board CAMBRIDGE Robert Westwood (Mr) BEng (Civil), FIEAust, CPEng St Andrews Uniting Church, Bremer-Brisbane Robert (Bob) is a current and founding member of the Finance Investment and Property Board. He is also, and has been since 1986, a member of the Uniting Church in Australia Property Trust (Q.). Bob has been a member of the Uniting Church since Union and was a former member of the Presbyterian Church. He was also a founding member of the Finance and Property Services Board and member of the Synod Property Committee from 1982 to 2001. Recently retired, Bob was the former Director and Senior Principal of Cardno Alexander Browne Pty Ltd and a Director of Alexander Browne Cambridge and Partners (Civil and Structural Engineers). COLLINS Ralph Michael (Mr) BSc, FIAA Trinity Wilston Uniting Church, Moreton Rivers Ralph is a current and founding member of the Finance Investment and Property Board. He is also Church Council Secretary and Elder at Trinity Wilston Church and a member of The Uniting Church in Australia Property Trust (Q.). Ralph was formerly a Board Member of Brisbane Lifeline and Kings College (St Lucia) for many years and was chair of the Management Committees for the National Christian Youth Convention in 2011 and the Uniting Church National Assembly in 2006, as well as ballot convenor for the 29th Synod. A qualified actuary, Ralph is currently employed at QSuper and has over 30 years experience in the superannuation industry, including 18 years with AMP, 10 years with Sunsuper and 2 years as a Principal at Rice Warner consultancy. PEDEN Bruce William (Mr) AAUQ, FCA Atherton Uniting Church, North Queensland Bruce is currently a member of the Finance Investment and Property Board; chair of his Church Council and Elder at Atherton Uniting Church; and Presbytery Treasurer as well as member of the Presbytery Leadership Team and Mission Resourcing Committee at North Queensland Presbytery. A semi-retired Chartered Accountant, he is the current chair of the Tablelands Regional Council’s Audit and Risk Management Committee (ARMC); deputy chair of the Cairns Regional Council and its ARMC; and a member of the Cairns and Hinterland Health Service Board and its ARMC. Bruce was formerly a Partner with Hall Chadwick Chartered Accountants for over 20 years, where he specialised in strategic planning, business mentoring and taxation, as well as a State Councillor with the Institute of Chartered Accountants, where he is currently a member of its Qld Advisory Group.
