Online- go to www.alexandrina.sa.gov.au - Libraries - Library catalogue. Log in with your
11 digit ‘User ID’ (on the back of your library card, starts X0…). and your PIN.
Place a hold following a search by clicking on ‘Place hold’ or ‘Select an action’.
Don’t forget, you can also see what you have out and on hold as well as renew your items
by clicking on ‘My Account’.
How many holds can I place?
You can have up to 30 holds at any one time.
How long are holds kept for me?
Items will be held for 10 days from the date we notify you that the item is available.
How will I be notified when my holds are available for collection?
You can elect to receive your notifications by email, sms or post. Just let us know what suits you best.
I’m going away on holidays—what will happen to my holds?
