The AIM Project, in support of the Rochester Oratorio Society and the UR Humanities Center Mendelssohn’s oratorio Elijah Orchestral-Choral Performance Friday, October 30, 7:30PM – Hochstein Hall Students! the 1st 20 who register will receive tickets to the performance for FREE. plus Discussions/lectures at the UR throughout October October brings a first collaboration between the Rochester Oratorio Society [ROS] with the newly-formed Humanities Center at the University of Rochester, culminating in the performance of Felix Mendelssohn’s majestic oratorio ELIJAH by the ROS on October 30. Entitled “Mendelssohn and his world,” the month-long festival explores the music, the life and times of composer Felix Mendelssohn through a weekly discussions and presentations, all free of charge.
