Reno
Painters, welders, muralists, and performers all create
Reno’s art scene — a year-round exhibition as vivid
and varied as the landscape it calls home. Inspired by
the high desert expanse of the Great Basin to the east
and the 10,000-foot peaks of the Sierra Nevada to the
west, Reno’s art community is eclectic and energetic. It
surprises with mind-bending Burning Man installations
and avant-garde outdoor performance art. It astounds
with world-renowned rotating exhibits at the Nevada
Museum of Art.
Reno’s vibrancy and natural landscape attract
audacious artists and traditional masters, who
showcase their work in galleries, museums, art schools
and workspaces throughout the city. Take a tour of
Reno to see the wealth of art the city offers.
