located at the northwest edge of town.

The village of Hicksville, Ohio, is
located at the intersection of State
Routes 2, 49, and 18 in western
Defiance County. Hicksville features
an established industrial base,
vibrant downtown, a state of the art
hospital, and a new PreK-12 school
building. Hicksville is located 10
miles from SR-24, 15 miles from I-69,
50 miles from I-75, and 25 miles from
the Ohio Turnpike. The village is also just
64 miles from the CSX/National Gateway
Northwest Ohio Terminal, the cornerstone
of a new double-stack intermodal freight rail
corridor between East Coast sea ports and the Midwest.
Hicksville is centrally located between markets in Cleveland,
Cincinnati, Indianapolis, Columbus, Detroit, and Chicago. Our
location at the heart of the Midwest provides access within 500 miles
to nearly half of the North American industrial base.

purchase. Water and sewer lines are

available. Owned by the village, free

miles from SR-24 and less than 15
miles from I-69.
The program grants tax credits against local income
taxes to companies that create at least $200,000 in new
annual payroll or provide at least 10 new qualifying jobs.
