Al Capone Does My Shirts
While reading this book you will use post-it notes to record your
answers to the questions, and your personal discoveries. Make sure to
CAREFULLY read the instructions to see where you should put the post-it
note.
For each word to know, write the part of speech and the contextual
definition. A contextual definition should be the definition that connects to
the story. The post-it note should be put on the page that you can find the
word.
Keep in mind that the readings following the textbook and the lessons
we will be discussing in class. The journal requirements will also be available
on Mrs. Tradewell’s homework site. Please refer any questions to Mrs.
Tradewell at any time via email ([email protected]) or in person.
Please do not go ahead keeping in mind that you will be discussing the
readings with your Literature Circle groups at various points during the
reading. If you do go ahead please do not spoil anything for your peers who
have not read ahead.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Tradewell
