ASSEMBLING QUILT TOP CENTER
Arrange the blocks in 3 rows of 3 as shown in the quilt assembly diagram. Join the blocks into rows.
Matching seams and ends, join the rows. Press.
BORDER STRIPS
From 6325 - NIGHT (Stars ) Cut five 4 1/2” x width of fabric strips.
Measure the center blocks. The result should be approximately 37 1/2”. Cut two of the border strips to match
your measurement. Attach to the sides of the center blocks as shown in diagram.
Measure the width of the center blocks plus the borders. The result should be approximately 44 1/2”. Piece
strips end to end as needed to make top and border strips.
From 6247 - ATLANTIC (Dark waves) Cut five 1 1/2” x width of fabric strips.
Measure the sides of the quilt top with borders. Piece strips end to end as needed to make side outer border
strips according to your measurement. (Approximately 44 1/2”.) Attach as shown in diagram.
Measure the the top and bottom of the quilt top with added side borders. Piece strips end to end as needed
to make top and bottom outer border strip according to your measurement. (Approximately 46 1/2”.)

QULT TOP ASSEMBLY DIAGRAM
FINISHING
When all borders have been added and pressed, layer the quilt top, batting and backing and quilt as desired.
Once quilting is completed, trim the excess batting and batting and bind using the 2 1/2” strips, using your
favorite method.
