Deed: On the afternoon of 8 December 2015, Akshita and her younger brother Akshit
returned home from school to find the iron gate of the house opened and wooden door
closed from inside. After knocking at the door several times, they heard a response from
inside. However uncomfortable at the unfamiliar voice, the children did not respond.
Sensing trouble, Akshita tried to peep through the window on the top of the main door and
noticed two strangers moving inside the drawing room. Meanwhile, Akshit kept knocking
at the door. As one of the thieves jumped from the balcony carrying some bags, Akshita
rushed forward and tried to catch him by his cloths. However, the miscreant caught her
neck and slapped her face. As a result, Akshita's spectacles fell on the ground and the thief
fled. As the second thief came out from the balcony carrying a bag, Akshit too rushed there
throwing the school bags aside. Both the children caught hold of the thief tightly and
started shouting. Hearing them, neighbours rushed to the spot. The thief was thus
apprehended.
Akshita Sharma and Akshit Sharma fearlessly confronted the miscreants with indomitable
courage.
