BUSCH FUNERAL HOME COMMUNITY ROOM AGENDA We are in the process of changing our logo. It will no longer say Parma, instead it will say North Royalton. The new logo will have a different font and we will be adding “Dads & Daughters”. 5. Treasure Keeper’s Report John Gaughan We have money and are on budget. I am in the process of giving the Mardi Gras payouts to the Outposts. PAST EVENTS 6. Buffalo Overnighter Dan McCoy Was October 3rd. Girls had a good time, good weather. 7. Car Rally PJ Egnaczyk October 11th – 110 people attended and had a good time. Only one person got lost. We had 10 new families. Well under budget. 8. Fall Camp Don McKee October 16th-18th. Camp Y-Noah. Party went well. Next year we may have the girls trick or treat around the camp. We had good weather. UPCOMING EVENTS 9. Family Skate Dan Vegh Sumday, November 8th, Brookpark Stateland, 4:45 PM to 6:45PM. Family event, admission is free. Skate rental is $3:00, In line skates $5:00. Bring a nonperishable food and Peanut Butter. No black stoppers. There is no registration. 10. Overnighter Don Bromeier Saturday, November 21st. Strongsville Rec Center 10:00pm to 4:00am. Bring sleeping bags and a snack to share. Activities include swimming, basketball, game area. Registration is $10.00 by November 1st. $12.00 after November 1st. Free for new members. New member welcome orientation session will be at 10:15pm with Senior Princess Ice Cream social to follow. 11. Christmas Parade Nick Marton Sunday, November 29th. Step off will be at 4:45 from St. Albert’s, corner of Wallings and Ridge. They will close Ridge road around 4:00 – 4:15pm. Festival of fluffs Kevin Sexton Friday, December 4th- 6:30PM to 8:30PM, will start at Kevin’s house. Snowman theme. Outposts need to have a fluff song. 13. Christmas Party Dan McCoy Sunday, December 13th. Tri-C West. Santa, food, pictures. Other Business Officer nominations – At this time we have at least one person for each position. Mardi Gras – Saturday, February 6th. Tickets on sale now, $25 each or 2 for $40. Appetizers, dinner, dessert, Music and games. We try to raise $20,000 to support the years activities. There is a raffle. New members do not have to sell tickets. It is voluntary. Turn your Y registrations into Noah by the end of the year. We need to go to fall camp somewhere other than Y-Noah. Dan Vegh, Dan McCoy and Scott Miller went on a tour of Camp Christopher with the Camp Coordinator Livie Thomas. Camp can accommodate 275 people. 165 acers, dining hall, canoeing, fishing, Large hall with a fireplace and stage where skits could be done, 12 cabins, 3 with bathrooms and showers, bath house with showers, new pavilion, archery, zip line for outgoing girls, low ropes, hiking trails with guide if need be, gaga pit, a large fire pit in a field, fire rings in front of the cabins, playground, 28 miles away, scheduled for October 14th – 16th.
