Graduates from our range of geography and environmental
management courses secure varied roles in areas such as
environmental health, housing, energy advice, environmental
consultancy, health and safety, flood risk management,
recruitment consultancy, property management and education in
both the public and private sectors.
Further study destinations include secondary teaching,
environmental consultancy, planning, research and specialist areas
of science.
In addition to civil engineering roles, graduates from this degree
find employment in related roles such as health and safety, flood
and coastal risk management.
The contribution of placements and other forms of work
experience to increase graduate employability cannot be
emphasised enough. We know from surveying these graduates
with relevant experience that they are more likely to enter
employment at graduate level and on a higher salary.
