Grade points = points*credits GPA=∑Grade points /∑credits Letter Grading System Effective Grade 2015, the letter grading system is used to evaluate students’ (including postgraduates and graduates) course work. Instructors could adopt either 100-scale system or letter grade system for a course. Grades Recording Platform will automatically convert 100-scale to letter grade. Students may set one of the electives as a P/ F course (course work evaluated by Pass/Fail marking scheme). Students may check their hidden grades; the grades are available for students only. Policies for transitional period During transitional period, the following conversion rules are used for students enrolled in Tsinghua prior to 2015. When the Instructors document letter grades, the system will automatically calculate them to 100-scale in the following manner. This rule is effective from 2015-2016 Fall Semester. The notation W、I、EX written in above terms apply to transitional period.
