Presentation
The Casablanca Stock Exchange (CSE), jointly with the African
Securities Exchanges Association (ASEA), organize for the first
time in North Africa, the 6th edition of the Building African
Financial Markets (BAFM) Capacity Building Seminar.
The BAFM Capacity Building Seminar is an initiative driven by the
African Securities Exchanges Association (ASEA) in collaboration
with African Securities Exchanges, in order to promote growth
in African financial markets. BAFM seminars are a genuine
opportunity for representatives from stock exchanges, brokerage
firms, regulators, and other stakeholders, to learn about the
sector’ best practices and market developments.
The 5th edition of the BAFM Seminar has been hosted by the
Nigerian Stock Exchange and addressed liquidity concerns in
African Capital markets. The seminar brought together more
than 160 attendees, from 12 different African countries.
This year’s edition of the BAFM Seminar will be hosted by the
Casablanca Stock Exchange on 18th and 19th of May 2017. The
seminar will include series of interactive training sessions on key
topical subjects around the best practices to enhance African
Capital markets.
