The BAFM Capacity Building Seminar is an initiative driven by the African Securities Exchanges Association (ASEA) in collaboration with African Securities Exchanges, in order to promote growth in African financial markets. BAFM seminars are a genuine opportunity for representatives from stock exchanges, brokerage firms, regulators, and other stakeholders, to learn about the sector’ best practices and market developments. The 5th edition of the BAFM Seminar has been hosted by the Nigerian Stock Exchange and addressed liquidity concerns in African Capital markets. The seminar brought together more than 160 attendees, from 12 different African countries. This year’s edition of the BAFM Seminar will be hosted by the Casablanca Stock Exchange on 18th and 19th of May 2017. The seminar will include series of interactive training sessions on key topical subjects around the best practices to enhance African Capital markets.
