FORD MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND $1000 OMNIUM

Racers in the top amateur fields, Men’s Cat 3 and Women’s Cat 2/3, will compete in the 2nd Annual Ford
Memorial Day Weekend Omnium, during the Muscatine and Quad Cities events.
Equal prize money will be awarded for both fields in the weekend shootout. At the conclusion of both
Muscatine and Quad Cities Events, a leaders jersey will be awarded to the omnium leader. Come grab the
start of a new tradition on the river!
OMNIUM SCORING RULES FOR Men’s Cat 3 and Women’s Cat 2/3 fields:
(i) Riders do not have to participate in each event to earn omnium points.
(ii) 3H4(d)i: Placings in points shall be determined by adding points awarded at each event. Points shall
apply to 1st to 15th places respectively in events: 25, 20, 16, 14, 12, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1
point.
(iii) 7I4(b): For combined divisions, race will be scored as whole, not as relative to the division of each
racer. (iv) 7I4(d): In the case of a tie on total omnium points, tie will be broken in the favor of the rider who
has:
(i) The most 1st place finishes or, if still tied, the most second place finishes, etc.; if still tied,
(ii) The highest placing in the last individual race of the event.
