achievement! “
These are but some of the words that former and late first democratically elected
President of the Republic of South Africa Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela delivered on
10 May 1994, following a landslide victory after a nationwide democratic elections.

His inauguration is indeed a milestone that few if any people can ever forget. His
election became a worldwide dawn of a new South Africa free from laws of segregation, brutality and inequality.
“Today, all of us do, by our presence here, and by our celebrations in other parts
of our country and the world corner glory and hope for a newborn liberty”- he had
said.
As we celebrate him today, it is with hope that we will remember the iconic leader
he was who put aside the past in the name of building a united South Africa,
a "Rainbow Nation”.
“The time for healing of the wounds has come the moment to bridge the rights
that divide us has come, the time to build is upon us”- these are word he said
which are still relevant to date as the country faces leadership, socio and economical challenges.
