Bible Passage: Matthew 8:28-34

3:45 – 4:00…Check-In / Playtime.

One teacher take control of sign-in:
Place the Check-In Sticker on Clipboard. If manually sign-in, give parent a nametag and write their cell number
on it. They will use this for check out.
One teacher lead orderly free play:
4:00 – 4:30…Coloring Sheet / Snack / Intro Activity

COLORING SHEET:
Have the kids color the sheet and ask them questions about the sheet.
•
SNACK: Animal Crackers & Water
Give each child animal crackers in a cup & water in a cup with a lid.
Pray over them a simple prayer.

INTRO ACTIVITY: “In Command”
Play this version of Red light Green light with the kids. Have kids line up along one wall while you are at the
opposite side. When you say green light the kids may come toward you, when you say red light the children must
stop. The first child to reach you wins play as time allows. (at least 2 games)
Say: Was the game easier to play and understand the first time or the second time? Why? It’s hard to complete a
task if someone in charge doesn’t tell you how to do it. Today we will talk about who is in charge of everything.
4:30 – 5:00…Movie / Story / Craft

MOVIE: Bible Story… (Have the kids sit in front of the TV)
-From the menu screen, choose “Jesus is Lord over all things”
-When the video is over, press “Menu” on the remote.

STORY:
Have the kids transition to the Jesus rug for story time.
Read the Bible Story Provided in the Teacher Aid section of the bin.
Say: The Main Point of our lesson is “Jesus is Lord over all things good and evil.” ( Have the kids repeat
after you)

CRAFT: “Jesus Trophy”
Have the kids transition back to the chairs at the tables…
Items Needed: Trophy printout, Crayons.
Instructions: Pass out coloring sheets to kids. Help kids to color.
Say: Who has power over evil? Jesus is Lord over all things, good and evil. This means whenever there’s a battle
between good and evil, Jesus always wins! Which reminds us… Jesus is Lord over all things, good and evil.
5:00 – 5:20…Movie / Activity / Movie / Bible Verse

ACTIVITY: “First Up”
Invite kids to line up based on different options (Oldest to youngest, youngest to oldest ect). Play as time allows.
MOVIE: Bible Verse
Have the kids sit on floor in front of the TV.
-From the menu screen, choose “Memory Verse”
-When the video is over, press “Menu” on the remote.
Say: Jesus has power over evil. Only Jesus had the strength to control the man with the evil spirits. Jesus used His power to free
the man. He has power over everything. Jesus came to earth to destroy the Devil by dying on the cross. One day, Jesus will end
evil forever.
