Things to remember when posting your score on GHIN! 3 options for entering scores My MGA App 1. You have 3 options to post a score on GHIN: 1. Log in using your home computer with your 7 digit GHIN number and Last Name 2. Log in from your smart phone using the My MGA App, with your 7 digit GHIN number and Last Name 3. Log in using the computer at Longshore with your Local GHIN number and Last Name http://www.ghin.com/ http://www.mgagolf.org/mymgaapp Things to remember when posting your score on GHIN! Enter the correct date 2. • Check the Date selected matches the date of the round that you played Things to remember when posting your score on GHIN! Home / Away / Tournament – which one to use? 3. • Home (H): All weekly tournaments, events or other rounds played at Longshore, OR rounds played at any other club that you belong to should be marked as Home (H) • Away (A): All rounds played at other golf clubs should be marked as Away (A) • Tournament (T): Only to be selected for playing in the LWGA Majors: • George Buck Cup • President’s Cup • Club Championship • Fall Cup Things to remember when posting your score on GHIN! Which tee do I select? 4. • Choose the right tee! • New in 2017: All Flights play from the Yellow Tees (68.9/117) unless advised otherwise by Tournament Chair • LWGA does not use: • Yellow/White Tee (69.7/121) Things to remember when posting your score on GHIN! Post your adjusted ESC score 5. • Post your Equitable Stroke Control (ESC) adjusted score on GHIN Things to remember when posting your score on GHIN! Example of ESC: A Player with a Handicap of 23 with a score of 9 on a hole Your Scorecard: • For all matches/tournament purposes, you must count all strokes on every hole • On your Scorecard you would enter the actual score for the hole played, in this example, 9 • If you had a round of 98, that would be recorded for the match/tournament Posting your Adjusted Score on GHIN: • You must post your ESC adjusted score on GHIN • In this example, you would post a score of 8, and not 9, for the hole in question • So your adjusted score would be 97 to post on GHIN Equitable Stroke Control (ESC) If your handicap is: You may post these maximum scores: 9 or less Double bogey 10-19 7 20-29 8 30-39 9 40 or over 10 Things to remember when posting your score on GHIN! Summary • You have 3 options to post your adjusted scores on GHIN: 1. Your home computer using your 7 digit GHIN number and your last name 2. Your smart phone using the My MGA App with your 7 digit GHIN number and your last name 3. Computer at Longshore using your Local GHIN number and your last name • Post scores in a timely fashion, ideally on the day of play and particularly ahead of Handicap Revisions on 1st and 15th of the month • Check the date selected matches the date of the round that you played • Choose the right tee: LWGA plays from the Yellow Tee unless advised otherwise by the Tournament Chair • Choose the correct match type: Home (H) / Away (A) / Tournament (T) • For all Tuesday Tournaments and Events played at Longshore – choose Home (H) Things to remember when posting your score on GHIN!
