Halliburton Sets Industry Record for Jack/St. Malo Project

Why Complete with the Leader...
Halliburton sets industry
records.
With wells reaching depths of 29,000 feet, the Jack/St. Malo Project
in the Gulf of Mexico relied on state-of-the-art technology from Halliburton
to save time and money. The Enhanced Single-Trip Multizone (ESTMZ™)
completion system saved 25 days of rig time and improved time to
production. And our Stim Star vessel delivered 30,000 bbls of
DeepQuest® stimulation fluid to the project, that’s 15 million pounds of
weighted fluid reducing surface pressures and enhancing safety.
EMPIRE STATE BUILDING - 1483 FEET TALL
1500 ft tool string
To help save rig time,
Halliburton fractured up
to 6 zones in a single trip,
placing more than 2 million
pounds of proppant.
To accomplish this,
the tool string had to
be 1500 ft (450 m) long.
That’s equivalent to
the height of the
Empire State Building.
What can our ESTMZ, Stim Star and DeepQuest
technologies do for you?

CAPABILITY AND EXPERIENCE MAKE HALLIBURTON THE CHOICE FOR DEEPWATER COMPLETIONS
Halliburton’s ESTMZ system capabilities greatly exceed those of previous single-trip completion systems.
It can deliver the proppant and pressures associated with stacked operations, but in a fraction of the time.
