Single bolt-hole points such as PR 2DB, x 5/16” bolts & nylocs at a height to suit your seeding program and soil conditions. If using 3T, 4T, 7T, 8T, 9T, 9DB, 10T, 23T, 91, a steel delivery boot (Part no. ST-ADJ-135 or 94TW, and 94 DB-TW can be fitted. similar), a pair of connecting links (Part no. See catalogue for bolt size and torque ST-CL-50) will angle boot backwards if specs. desired. 2. Ensure that bolt is firmly held down into bolt-head recess, and that the point is pushed well onto the tine foot before tightening, to avoid it coming loose in service. Single / double shoot bracket: (no residue deflectors) Holding the bracket (Part no. PCT-SBB-2) with it’s front lip around the shank and the chamfered corner adjacent to the tine foot, pass the 3/8” bolts (with spring washers fitted) through the tine leg from front and secure with nyloc nut provided. Residue deflectors: (Part no. PCT-TT-3) 1.The threaded block fits into the back of the deflector plate and is held in place in front of the tine, by the two 3/8” bolts (and spring washers), which in this case are pushed through the tine from the back and threaded into the block. 2.Ensure that the residue deflector is fully down on the head of the point to reduce wear and presents a smooth, continous trash-flow surface. 3.Check your assembly-the residue deflector must be flush against the seed tube mounting bracket, in front of the tine. Double shoot conversion: You may convert to double shoot use by adding two clips (Part no. PCT-FT-HC) to two holes in the body of the single shoot bracket which will hold Barflo or other dual shoot delivery hose at various depths for fertiliser placement. Dual Shoot with PCT-FT-235 steel fertiliser boot: This boot bolts directly behind the tine shank, with the bolts being fed through from the front of the tine. Seed boots are secured to it through a mounting plate welded behind the steel tube. A separate, new residue deflector (# PCT-TT4) can be fitted, which features two clamps above and below the mounting area. Mudshield: This option (PCT Mud-1) is fitted to the point mounting bolt to eliminate blockage of fertiliser delivery tubes especially in accretive soils.
