Sect. 3.
All investments of the funds of the corporation,
in real estate, or other securities at interest, shall be made by
the said trustees, and shall be subject to their control and disposition ; but no sale or transfer of the Library shall be made
except by the authority of a vote of the corporation.
Sect. 4.
The disposition of the income, and the general
affairs of the corporation, shall be subject to the care and
management of the board of directors.
Sect. 5.
All male inhabitants of Worcester, above the age
of fourteen years, shall be eligible as members of the corporation, and entitled to vote, and to act as officers thereof, excepting
that no person under twenty-one years of age shall be a trustee.
