Kwik Cricket – Monday 12 May
Ambleside Cricket Club will be doing some coaching with the juniors. Please could they all have their PE kit?
Orienteering with Lakeland Orienteering Club
This will be in school time on Wednesdays until half term: please could all juniors have a waterproof, trainers or boots, and outdoor trousers
(or ones that you aren’t too precious about). We hope to be at Baysbrown Farm this week.

Stranger Danger with PCSO Laura Jackson – Friday 16 May, 1.15pm
Big Dance – Friday 16 May
The juniors will be taking part in this national dance phenomenon with Katie Marston who has been doing our dancing. Parents are welcome
to come and join us at 1pm. It will be a very short performance – 5minutes!
Heading Off
As you are probably aware I will be leaving at the end of the summer term to start a new post as headteacher of Selside School.
The governors have started the process to find a permanent replacement to start in January 2015. In the meantime Mrs Su Holohan will take
up the post of acting headteacher. She is vastly experienced as a headteacher of small primary schools in Cumbria and is already well known to
the school staff.

The photos are now ready to order.
The school photo will be a 10” x 5” mounted print @ £9.50 (no other size available)
The leavers photo is available in two sizes, 7” x 5” mounted @ £7.50 or 10” x 7”
mounted @ £9.50.

before half term. If you would like anything please send your order into school on Monday 12 May.
