Hair (if long enough) is to be swept up (including bangs) with ample amounts of gel and hairspray into a high
ponytail above the crown of the head. If hair is not long enough, sweep up as much hair as possible.
Secure ponytail tightly with a hair elastic in relatively the same color as your child’s hair.
Split ponytail into two sections.
Twist one of the sections tightly and wrap around hair elastic securing with bobby pins or hair pins as you go
around.
Make sure the hair is lying flat as you go, pressing it against the head.
Once you reach the other side, repeat with the second section of hair.
Continue alternating sections while wrapping and pinning the hair.
Add a hairnet (in a matching hair color) over the entire bun, twisting the extra end, and pinning it under the bun.
Shake head to make sure everything feels tight. If it doesn’t, add more bobby pins.
Spray hair spray over entire hair to secure fly-aways. Use bobby pins if hair spray does not work.
