Players are required to register through MyFootballClub and select their appropriate club. Following registration teams must complete the below Team Entry form and submit to BDAFA prior to competition commencing. All players must be registered on MyFootballClub to ‘Bankstown Football’ and be on their teams respective Team Entry Form to be eligible to participate. Teams participating in a Bankstown Summer Football competitions are required to register a minimum of seven (7) players and a maximum of ten (10). All players participating in a Bankstown Summer Football competitions are required to pay an upfront registration fee to BDAFA: Age Group Registered Players (2016 Winter) Unregistered Players (2016 Winter) Youth (Grade 11-17) $70.00 $75.00 Senior (18+) $75.00 $80.00 Platinum League $90.00 $100.00 Senior Players are those players registered to a U18 age grade and above Youth Players are those players registered to a U17 age grade and below Junior Players are those players registered to an U11 age grade and below Fees include the FNSW Capitation Fee Fees include Bankstown Football Summer Football Levy Personal Injury Insurance for the 2016 Winter football season extends to cover participation in the 2016/17 summer football season. A Registered Junior/Youth/Senior is considered to be any player that has registered to play winter football in the same registration period, in BDAFA. An Unregistered Junior/Youth/Senior is considered to be any player that has not registered to play football in the same registration period, in BDAFA. A player’s registration fee must be paid prior to the player being considered eligible to compete in a Bankstown Summer Football. Clubs can wish to add an additional levy on top of the above registration costs. 6|Page BDAFA Summer Football Competition Rules THE COMPETITION BDAFA will run the competition as per scheduled above as an Eight Team tournament. Where applicable BDAFA may need to alter Grades and Competition structures as per the determination of registrations (i.e. 6 team competition). Under an eight (8) team competition – each team will play each other a minimum of once (weather permitting) with the following four (4) weeks split into Playoff Finals groups as indicated above. PLAYER ELIGIBILITY Players Competing in BDAFA Summer Football must fall within the below age grades: o Under 11: must be minimum 09 years of age and no older than 11 as of 31st December 2016 o Under 13: must be minimum 11 years of age and no older than 13 as of 31st December 2016. o Under 15: must be minimum 13 years of age and no older than 15 as of 31st December 2016. o Under 17 must be minimum 15 years of age and no older than 17 as of 31st December 2016. o All Age (Men and Mixed): must be minimum 17 years of age Mixed teams must consist of an equal amount of male and female players at all times on the field (3 of each) A player cannot register as a regular player for more than one team. REGISTRATIONS All players must be registered via a BDAFA member club, through www.myfootballclub.com.au using their current FFA number. On registration they must select Bankstown Football Summer competition then select the age group in which they wish to play in. Once registered a team must submit their Team Entry Form inclusive of all Players Details (including FFA Number). Any player who has not registered on MyFootballClub under Bankstown Summer Football will not be eligible to play. Each player’s registration fee is a one off registration fee which includes all administration charges, limited Football NSW insurance, ground hire, lighting, line marking and referee’s fees. Any unregistered player who has been deemed to have participated in a sanctioned BDAFA Summer Football fixture will be subject to sanctioning from the BDAFA Board with the subsequent team losing 3 competition points and subject to a $250 fine on each occurrence (per player) A Coach and/or Manager is to be appointed and registered (no fee applies) for any team competing in the U/13 – U/17 competition TEAM ATTIRE & PLAYER ATTIRE Participants are to play in the appropriate club kit as per their registration. All players must be individually numbered. Should there be a clash of shirt colours the away team on the draw will be required to wear bibs BDAFA Affiliated Club Logo’s and/or Sponsors are permitted on participating team shirts. All players must wear soccer boots, long socks and shin pads. 7|Page BDAFA Summer Football JUDICIARY and SUSPENSIONS: All Disciplinary, Judiciary and Suspensions in BDAFA Summer Football will fall under the 2016 BDAFA Summer Football Grievance and Disciplinary Regulations. If the Regulations are silent on a matter than the rules and regulations of the BDAFA Winter Competition will be taken into consideration. Upon entering the competition all players by way of registering on MyFootballClub agree to adhere to the competition regulations and any determination regarding suspension received MATCH & COMPETITION RULES Prior to starting each match each team coach/manager or nominated captain will be given a team sheet, that team sheet is to be handed to the referee at the commencement of the match. At the conclusion of the match each captain or coach must sign that team sheet A maximum of six (6) players on the field at any one time including the Goalkeeper. A maximum of 10 players can be nominated for each game. A minimum of five (5) players must take the field. If a team has less than 5 players at the commencement of the match the referee shall not continue with the match and allowing 5 minutes from the scheduled kick off time the referee should then abandon the match. The team that could not field a full team will automatically forfeit the match to the opposing team. If the team is late they will be penalised a goal for every two (2) minutes they are late. If the match is abandoned the nonoffended team will be awarded the match 3 goals to nil. Interchange can occur at any time in the match with the referees’ permission. Caution regulations remain consisted with BDAFA Winter Competition rules. A player may be awarded a yellow card. If a player receives two yellow cards in any one match they must leave the field immediately and take no further part in the match. That player will automatically receive a one match suspension. They must also present themselves at the check in location and speak with one of the administrative team. If a player receives a red card in any one match they must leave the field immediately and take no further part in the match. That player must then report to the check in location and speak with one of the administrative team. At this point they will be advised of their minimum suspension. If BDAFA believes that the minimum suspension is insufficient that player will be notified in writing thereafter within 5-days. All Disciplinary matters will fall under the duress of the BDAFA Disciplinary Panel with subsequent determinations regarding suspensions applicable to all BDAFA Sanctioned Fixtures. If a Player receives three (3) Yellow Cards in the competition (not Yellow Cards that lead to an R7) they shall be suspended for one (1) match. If a Player receives a further two (2) Yellow Cards (not Yellow Cards that lead to an R7) they shall be suspended for a further two (2) matches. If the Player receives another Yellow Card, they will need to face a BDAFA General Purposes Tribunal (GPT) until the matter is held the Player is suspended. No abandoned matches will be replayed. No matches cancelled due to wet weather, field closure, or any other reasoning will be replayed There is no off-side in our BDAFA summer football competition The ball shall be kicked into the field from the sideline. A goal cannot be scored from a direct kick from the sideline. It must be touched by a player prior to entering the goal. A penalty kick will be taken from the marked spot inside the semi-circle located five (5) metres from the goal line. Indirect free kicks – all players must be at least five (5) metres from the ball. All match balls will be supplied by BDAFA. All match balls to be returned to the referee at the conclusion of the match. Length of matches are determined as per Schedule above (BDAFA Football Snapshot). Half time breaks will be a minimum of three (3) minutes and a maximum of five (5) minutes. Competition point scoring is consisted with BDAFA Winter season regulations - WIN = 3 points, Loss = 0 points, DRAW = 1 point. BDAFA Regulations regarding match abandonments are consisted between BDAFA Winter and Summer Football A BYE Round will result in zero (0) Points and zero (0) Goals for the respective team. 8|Page BDAFA Summer Football If a team plays an unregistered player it will be deemed they have forfeited the game and 3 points will be awarded to the opposition as well as three (3) goals to the opponent and zero (0) goals to the offending team All players must play in their nominated team. A team must give a minimum of 24-hour’s notice of a forfeit. A forfeit does not mean that that portion of their registration fee will be reimbursed. A late fee may apply if a team forfeits on the day. The late fee will be the amount of the Referee’s Fee. If a team does not show up and does not notify BDAFA prior, they will be fined $50. If a team forfeits (notice given or not) twice in the season at the discretion of BDAFA may be expelled from the competition and no monies refunded. If a team forfeits on three (3) occasions they will be withdrawn from the competition. No refunds will be issued to any player on that team once they have been withdrawn from the competition. All referee appointments will be administered by the BFR. The final series format will simply be 1 v 4 and 2 v 3 with the winners progressing to the Grand Final. This may be played on the same night (time allowed in between matches). In order to be eligible to play in the finals series each player must have played at least three (3) matches in that team. Platinum League Each BDAFA club will be able to apply for up to two (2) Platinum league teams to enter the BDAFA Summer Football Platinum League. These teams will be labeled as Platinum League Firsts & Reserves, where Feasible BDAFA will attempt to separate the Platinum League Competition into Firsts and Reserves. The team who are declared Premiers of the competition will represent BDAFA in the FNSW Summer Football Champions of Champions. Where there is more than one (1) division of Platinum League, then the Champions of Champions representatives will be decided via a play-off or otherwise resolved by BDAFA. If the competitions are run in a First/Reserve Grade format, then players can participate in either grade. Players will only be eligible to play finals for which ever grade they had played the most games in.
