The Bear Creek School’s Fine and Performing Arts Department Presents
“Sense and Sensibility”
Adapted from a novel by Jane Austen
(Redmond, WA) – Jane Austen’s Sense and Sensibility is a must-see theater production performed by
The Bear Creek School students on May 21 and 22.
Plan to attend one of Bear Creek’s four performances of this romantic escapade from the Regency
period. It is the story of two sisters, Elinor and Marianne Dashwood, who search for true love and
lasting happiness among a trio of suitors: Edward Ferrars, Colonel Brandon, and John Willoughby. Their
journey to this eventuality was chronicled in Jane Austen’s novel of the same name and details some
most unusual characters. Status, wealth, and arrogance are pitted against virtue, honor, and
compassion.
All performances are open to the public. Tickets ($5 individual or $10 family) may be purchased at the
door of The Bear Creek School’s Cornerstone Theater, 8905 208th Ave NE, Redmond WA, 98053, 452898-1720, www.tbcs.org.
