The undersigned has the honour to
THAT application has been made to constitute as a pound district
under the provisions of Section 3 of the "Pound District Act", Chapter 259,
R. S. B. C. 1948, certain land in the vicinity of Telkwa which may be more
particularly described as follows:- Commencing at the point of intersection
of thw westerly boundary of Section 25, Township 5, Range 5, Coast Land District with the right bank of Bulkley River; thence northerly to the northwest corner of the south-west quarter of said Section 25; thence easterly to
the north-east corner of the south-east quarter of Section 30, Township 6;
thence southerly to the north-west corner of Lot 1141; thence easterly to the
north-east corner thereof; thence southerly along the easterly boundary of said
Lot 1141 to the northerly boundary of Lot 766; thence easterly to the northeast corner of said Lot 766; thence northerly and easterly along the westerly
and northerly boundaries of lots 782 and 765 to the north-east corner of said
Lot 763; thence southerly to the south-east corner of lot 777A; thence easterly
to the north-east corner of Section 3, Township 6; thence southerly along the
easterly boundaries of Section 3, Township 6, and Section 34, Township 8, to
the right bank of the Bulkley River; thence .orth-westerly along said right
bank to the point of commencement:
AND FURTHOR TO REPORT that petitions in favour of constitution of
said part of the Province as a pound district have been received from seventeen
(17) proprietors of land within the said area and a counter-petition has been
received from eight (8) proprietors of land within the said area:
THAT the undersigned is satisfied that the petition in favour of
the proposed pound district has been signed by a majority of proprietors residing
within the said district:
.."iND TO RECOMMEND that the said area hereinbefore described be constituted a pound district to be known as Round Lake Pound District.
