A large air-conditioning and refrigeration company located in Brisbane, ran a field test on a rooftop mounted
packaged unit. TdX20, the true drop-in refrigerant with no oil or metering device change required, delivered
significant benefits including lower suction pressure and reduced cycle time in comparison to R22, results below.

The recorded data was completed under similar conditions,
including outside temperature, humidity and heat load.
Unit & Testing Information
The contractor tested TdX 20 against R-22 on the above unit.
They recovered the R-22 to an approved storage tank then
evacuated the system to 500 microns. They then charged the
unit to the factory charge recommendation with TdX 20. The
optimum performance was achieved through superheat as
recommended by the manufacturer.
