Good Morning and Welcome to
Laurentian Wesleyan Church
We are glad you’ve chosen to worship with us this
morning. If you’re our guest today, we’re especially
excited to have you! We have a small gift to thank
you for attending. You can pick it up after the
service. We just ask one small thing…would you
write down at least your name on a communication
card (there’s one in the pew in front of you) so we
can get to know you better. Thanks!

UPCOMING
City Wide Good Friday Gathering 2016
Our theme this year is from John 8:36, “So if the Son
sets you free, you will be free indeed.” Last year was
a powerful service, and we’re coming together again
at the Capitol Centre with many other churches in
our city. Two Identical Services. Good Friday,
March 25th at 9:00am & 11:30am. Free tickets will
be available soon.
Plan now to come and bring a friend…there will be
lots of space for you! Opportunities to give
financially and to get involved in the choir will be
coming soon.
Next Week We Start a New Sermon Series:
“Take What You Need”
Putting God’s Love, Peace, Self-Control, Patience
and Joy at Work in Your Life.
We have a fun poster to invite people to our church
for this series in the foyer. Would you help us put
them up in the community?
Men’s Breakfast Coming Up. Save the Date.
Saturday, February 13th we’re going to have a men’s
breakfast here at the church. Time tba.
“…you also, like living stones, are being built into a
spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering
spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus
Christ.”

Encounters with Christ. Easter 2016.
In the weeks leading up to Easter (which is early this
year, March 27th) I will be preaching about
“Encounters with Christ” and I’d love for you to be
involved? Please share with me how you have
encountered Christ. Your salvation story, times of
answered prayer, feeling His forgiveness, Scriptures
that have meant a lot to you. You can call, email,
write out or drop in to the church. I look forward to
hearing from you.
