image. (You may include more than just the

Writing Assignment
• We see walls practically everywhere. Walls separate
properties because of rituals and out of necessity.
The speaker also sees walls in his world as well.
What is the speaker’s opinion of the wall? What are
the reasons why the speaker holds these opinions of
the wall? What does the neighbor mean when he
says, “Good fences make good neighbors?” Use
textual evidence to support your claim.
