The Great Dairy Adventure
The Great Dairy Adventure is just around the corner! This consumer education event is held annually
as part of the Michigan Dairy Expo. This year the Great Dairy Adventure will be held Wednesday,
July 17 and we are looking for volunteers to assist us with this great family event! Activities include
milk mustache photos, milking a cow, making cheese “bugs”, dairy nutrition education, calves to pet
and even a robotic milking machine! We are looking for volunteers in two shifts 8:45 a.m. to 12:15
and 12:00 noon to 3:00 p.m. You don’t have to have any dairy background – we have lots of jobs
and anyone with child “wrangling” skills is perfect! Drop Carla an email at [email protected] if you
are available for a few hours to help!
