We LOVE natural shots and for photos to not look “staged”. We understand there will be ‘posed’ shots now and then, but do your best to blend in the background and capture the natural moments o It’s about optimism and fun! Some of the best and most versatile shots we have are simply of kids smiling or laughing. We want to portray how much fun it is, how we celebrate life and nurture friendships o Shots need to be hi-resolution. Please make sure your camera is set to the best/highest quality photos o We need both portrait and landscape shots o Outdoor shots with natural light are preferable to indoor o Active shots are great if they express some emotion, ie someone reaching out for a rope or trying really hard to paddle a canoe. Please be sure to be close or zoomed in so we can see the emotions o Please try and get the following shots: o Every child/family o Every volunteer o Siblings together (Kids Camp) o Rovers o Child-Companion matching’s (Kids Camp) o Camp Leadership Team o Medical Team (Kids Camp) o Activities, ie craft, ball games, abseiling, etc o Group shot o Examples of photos: Recreation Program Photographer Terms of Reference Version 1.0 June 2014 Page 2 of 2 Document Owner: People & Culture – Volunteer Advisor
