Dear Benjamin,
It is my pleasure to offer you a conditional offer as a Zoning Assistant in the Goodhue
County Land Use Management office beginning on March 3, 2014. The offer is
conditioned on the County Board approving the employment.
Your position will be at pay Grade 81 Step 2, which is $18.91 per hour, according to our
2014 pay scale. You would be eligible for a Step increase after a favorable review in
March 2015.
According to our Personnel Policy, you will earn vacation benefits from the first day of
employment, however, you may not utilize the accrued time until after successfully
completing six months of employment.
The benefits package and enrollment documents will be presented to you after your first
day of employment.
Please submit the signed Driver’s License Authorization Release as soon as possible to
our Human Resources Department. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact
