Please Be Advised that Canine Cough or Kennel Cough can be contracted at anytime. The Bordetella virus travels in a water molecule in the air. All dogs
staying overnight have a current Bordetella shot, but the Bordetella vaccine, whether given by shot or intranasaly, does not prevent all strains of colds or flus.
Your dog can still get Kennel Cough or Flu even if they have had the preventative. Your dog can also get sick from the vaccine itself as it contains live viruses. It
is best to vaccinate your dog at least two (2) weeks prior to staying overnight at Happy Tails Doggy Daycare, Inc. to make sure that your dog has developed a
full immunity.
