USE OF RAMPS
At the sole discretion of the judge, Whippets may be examined on the ground, on a table or on a
ramp. Basset Hounds are expected to be judged on the ramp during breed judging. For the judging
of Juniors, the ramp may be used at the discretion of the judge for the ramp breeds. This list may be
revised from time to time, and the current list can be found on the AKC website in Judging Operations.
A judge requesting the use of a ramp must give reasonable notice to the Show Superintendent/
Show Secretary prior to the day of the show. AKC approval is not required. Ramps may be used
in emergency situations to judge any breed. (In all but emergency situations, the exhibitor has no
recourse. In an emergency situation, where use of a ramp is not indicated in the premium list, an
exhibitor has the option of withdrawing their entry and receiving a refund.)

Best of Breed (Variety) Competition
The following categories of dogs may be entered and shown in Best of Breed (Variety) Competition: Dogs
that are Champions of Record and dogs which according to their owner's records, have completed the
requirements for a championship, but whose championships are unconfirmed. The showing of unconfirmed champions in Best of Breed (Variety) Competition is limited to a period of 90 days from the date
of the show where the dog completed the requirements for a championship.
Grand Championship Competition
The following categories of dogs are entered in this competition: 1. Dogs that are Champions of Record
competing in Best of Breed or Best of Variety class. 2. Dogs transferred to Best of Breed/Variety which
according to their owners´ records have completed the requirements for a championship but whose
championships are unconfirmed. 3. Champions that win Non-Regular Classes and become eligible for
Best of Breed competition. (Altered or spayed CH veteran class winners at independent specialties are
eligible.) 4. Winners Dog and Winners Bitch are not eligible for Grand Champion competition. At the
judge´s discretion, Grand Championship points may be awarded to: 1. Best of Breed or Variety 2. Best
of Opposite 3. Select Dog 4. Select Bitch. Grand Champion competition will not continue beyond Best
of Breed competition and in breeds that are divided into varieties, Grand Champion Competition will not
continue beyond Best of Variety competition.
Non-Regular Classes Involving Single Dog Entries

The Saluki Club and the Hound Club will have a joint dinner on Saturday starting after
completion of the Hound Group show, at approximately 6:00PM at Bob’s Burger and Brew,
located at Quil Ceda Parkway in Tulalip (south of the Casino, less than 5 minutes away).
We will have a private room and everybody can order from the menu with separate checks.
Prices range from $8.00 to $12.00 per entree. SPACE IS LIMITED. If you wish to attend,
you must reserve at the Club table on Saturday. First come, first served until limit is
reached.
RV AND DAY PARKING RESERVATIONS
Day Parking – The All Hound Club of Bellingham has reserved the parking lot immediately west
of the show ring area for the exclusive use of the PSSC and the AHBC. To secure reserved day
parking, reservations must be sent on or before the closing date of the show to the club treasurer,
together with a check of $5.00 per day with the completed form below. You will receive the number
of your reserved space prior to show date by mail. Parking spaces closest to the rings will be
allocated by the order reservations are received. People arriving without a reservation will be given
spaces as they are available.
RV Parking – To secure space for RV parking, reservations must be sent on or before the closing
date of the show to the club treasurer together with a check of $20.00 per night with the completed
form below. You will receive the number of your reserved space by mail. People with RVs arriving
without reservations may not be able find a parking space in the event that the RV lot is full with
casino customers. All RVs must be self contained and provide their own power.

The All Hound Club of Bellingham reserves the right of refusal for an ad deemed unsuitable to the
acceptable code of ethics, and disclaims any responsibility for accuracy of ad content.
Photos are digitally scanned and enhanced to show your dog at its best. For best results, photos
should be in well-balanced color or gray-tone. Consider sending photos by e-mail in a *jpg
format.
Please label all of your art work and photographs with name of dog, your name and phone number.
You may pick these materials up at the Superintendent’s Table the day of the show.
CATALOG ADVERTISING GUIDELINES
These guidelines apply to both Black & White and Color Ads (if offered)
HARD COPY ADS: All text must be typewritten or legibly printed. Photos should be photographic
quality, not printed from an inkjet or bubblejet printer.
ELECTRONIC SUBMISSION FORMATS: • High resolution PDF (press quality) (preferred format)
• JPG or TIF (300 pixels/inch resolution) • Word document (note, fonts may default)
The following are NOT acceptable formats: PowerPoint, Works,Excel, Word Perfect, Publisher
Ads MUST be built in proportion to a catalog page. Image area is 4.5”x7.25”, including any
border. Be aware, if you build your ad 8.5 x 11, it will be shrunk to fit a catalog page, and will
not be in proportion to the page. If you build your ad 13 inches long on a LEGAL Word template,
that will be acceptable and in proportion. It is recommended that you burn a CD of any of your
electronic ads and submit that to the ad chairman for your specialty. CD should be readable in
both PC and MAC format.
ENTRIES, CANCELLATIONS, CHANGES, TRANSFERS
FAX ENTRIES: Fax number: 360-683-6654. $4.00 per dog per event added for FAX-Credit Card
entries. Both sides of entry form must be transmitted. Entries must be accompanied by a cover
sheet stating the number of pages, what shows and how many dogs per show. Visa, MasterCard,
and American Express are accepted for Fax entries. Credit card information (Credit Card number,
expiration date, and cardholder name) must be on cover sheet. Note: Visa and MasterCard users
– You must include the 3-digit security code that appears above your signature on the back of
the card. Proof of fax transmission is not proof of receipt of a legible or complete transmission
(under AKC Rule Ch. 11, Sec. 4). A Fax-Friendly entry blank PDF is available for download at www.
BarayEvents.com.

NOTICE TO EXHIBITORS
The American Kennel Club Rules and Regulations will govern this Show and Exhibitors
must make themselves familiar with the agreement of the American Kennel Club, referred
to on the reverse side of the entry blanks that accompany this Show Premium List.
• Effective for all events held on and after January 1, 2008, The American Kennel Club will collect a $3.00 Event Service Fee for the first entry of a dog and a $3.00 service fee for each additional entry of the same dog in the regular
and non-regular recordable single entry classes, in all AKC licensed and member club events. The current 50 cent
recording fee will continue to be collected where applicable. The event-giving club shall assume the responsibility
of collecting all Event Service Fees for The American Kennel Club. These event service and recording fees shall be
forwarded to The American Kennel Club along with all other required event results within seven (7) days of the close
of the event.
• CANADIAN CHECKS OR MONEY ORDERS MUST BE DRAWN ON U.S. ACCOUNTS, AND/OR MADE PAYABLE IN U.S.
FUNDS
• No Entry will be accepted which specifies any condition as to its acceptance. Telegraph, e-mail and unsigned
entries cannot be accepted and will be returned. Entries not on Official AKC Entry Forms and Photocopies
of Entry Forms without Agreement and Rules on reverse side are NOT ACCEPTABLE. The Club and/or Baray
Events assumes no responsibility for wrong or incomplete information given on the entry blank by the owner
or the owner’s agent. RESPONSIBILITY FOR COMPLETENESS OF ENTRY RESTS SOLELY WITH ENTRANT.
• RETURNED CHECKS DO NOT CONSTITUTE A VALID ENTRY FEE. BaRay Events will add a $20.00 collection fee to
the amount of each returned check. Subsequent returned checks from the same exhibitor or agent may result in
their being put on a CASH ONLY BASIS.
• REFUNDS for cancellations due to judge change or cancellations made prior to entries closing will be mailed to said
Exhibitor or Agent AFTER THE SHOW. An administrative fee of $5.00 will be withheld from all refunds for entries
cancelled prior to the closing of entries. There is no refund for bitches in season in Obedience.
• FAX ENTRIES – Fax entries will be accepted up to closing time. Fee is $4.00 per dog per show. If the credit
card charge is denied for any reason, an additional service charge of $20.00 will be added. FAX NUMBER:
(360) 683-6654. This is for Fax Machine ONLY. Incomplete or illegible Fax entries are not acceptable as a
valid entry in a show. Proof of transmission is not proof of receipt of a legible or complete transmission (under
AKC Rule Ch. 11, Sec. 4). A Fax-Friendly entry blank PDF is available for download at www.BarayEvents.com
• Entries will be acknowledged after entries close with entry acknowledgment and judging program to address
on entry. Should Exhibitor NOT receive an acknowledgment within a reasonable time, PLEASE notify BaRay Events
at (360) 683-1507 or email [email protected].
• Entry fees shall NOT be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, sick, lame, excused by the Judge or
Veterinarian, or barred from competition by action of the Show Committee, or because it has been entered incorrectly.
There is no refund for DUPLICATE ENTRIES or OVERPAYMENTS. BaRay Events will make every effort to find all
duplicate entries, but if entry has been processed, no refund will be made. If, because of riots, civil disturbances or
other acts beyond the control of the management it is impossible to open, or to complete the Show NO REFUND will
be made. To find out about any AKC event cancellations call the AKC Event Cancellation Hotline 877-252-3229.
• Dogs need be present only for scheduled judging and will be released if not needed for further judging.
• Dogs must be ready for judging. Neither the club nor its Superintendent/Show Secretary will be responsible or
obligated to furnish any service for notifying exhibitors or their agents of Breed or Class Judging. Judges need not
wait for any dog holding up a class. Owners or agents alone are responsible for the presence of their dogs in the
judging rings.
• Only dogs eligible for these shows will be admitted into the show area. There is no provision for unentered dogs.
• LOSS OR DAMAGE – The Show Committee will use due care and diligence for the welfare of dogs and exhibitors,
but will not be responsible for, or assume any liability in the event of any accident or misfortune, to either dogs or
exhibitors participating in these Shows. The welfare of an Exhibitor’s child is assumed to be the responsibility of the
Exhibitor. It is distinctly understood that Exhibitors will exercise control and restraint over their children.
• Exhibitors should follow their veterinarians’ recommendation to assure their dogs are free of internal and external
parasites, any communicable diseases, and have appropriate vaccinations.
• TROPHIES & PRIZES will be awarded in the ring to person exhibiting the dog. No awards will be mailed.
• ALL RIGHTS TO TELEVISE, VIDEOTAPE, ADVERTISE, PHOTOGRAPH, PROMOTE or otherwise exploit this event are
vested in the Club, or in persons to whom assignments of such rights have been made in writing by the Club. All
persons and animals on the Show Grounds at any time while the show is in progress, do by attending this show or
participating therein, grant to the Club the right to photograph, televise, videotape, audiotape or otherwise use their
likeness and voice in any manner without further release or consent. The Club is not responsible for the actions or
products of the commercial vendors at this show.
