Submittinganentryconstitutesyourfullandunconditionalagreementtoandacceptanceofthese
OfficialRulesandthedecisionsoftheSponsor,whichshallbefinalandbindingonallmattersrelating

1. ContestTiming:TheNextGenAnimalRespondersContest(the“Contest”)begins12:00a.m.Central
Time(“CT”)on1/17/2017andendsat11:59p.m.CTon4/7/2017(the“ContestPeriod”).
2. Eligibility:TheContestisopenonlytolegalresidentsoftheUnitedStatesresidinginthegreater
Chicago,ILmetropolitanarea,who,asofthelastdayofthemonthpriortothedateofentry,are18
yearsofageorolderandwhoareteachersingrades5-8inaChicagometropolitanareaschoolasof
1/16/2017(“Entrant”).EmployeesofTheProcter&GambleDistributingLLC(the"Sponsor"),its
parents,subsidiaries,divisions,affiliates,suppliers,distributorsandadvertising,promotionaland
judgingagencies,includingSheddAquarium,DonJagodaAssociates,Inc.(the"Contest
Administrator")andtheirimmediatefamilymembers(spouses,parents,children,andsiblingsand
theirspouses)andhouseholdmembersofeach(whetherrelatedornot),arenoteligibleto
participateorwin.VoidoutsidethegreaterChicago,ILmetropolitanareaandwhereprohibitedby
law.Allfederal,stateandlocallawsandregulationsapply.
3. HowtoEnter:ThereisNOPURCHASENECESSARYtoparticipateintheContest.Apurchasedoes
notincreaseyourchancesofwinning.DuringtheContestPeriod,youmayentertheContestby
visitingwww.sheddaquarium.org/NextGen(the“ContestWebsite”)andcompletingtheon-screen
registrationform,includinga90secondorlessvideodescribingwhypreservingwildlifeisimportant
andinwhatwaysyourstudentsaredoingsoorwouldaspiretodoso(“Video”).Themaximumfile
sizeofyourVideois50MBmustbeinoneofthefollowingfileformats:mpeg,.mpg4,.avi,.mov,
.flvor.wmv,mp4,mpg,f4v,3gp,ogg,ogv,orm2v;andmustotherwisecomplywiththetechnical
specificationsprovidedontheContestWebsite.Registrationinformationprovided,andvideo
submittedshallcollectivelybereferredtoasthe“Entry”or“EntryMaterial”.Entriesmustbe
completetobeeligible.Limitone(1)EntryperteacherperclassduringtheContestPeriod.The
teachermayenterforeachclasshe/sheteachesaslongaseachEntryisunique.
AllEntriesmustadheretothefollowingEntryRestrictionsandtheentireOfficialRulesofthe
Contest.AnyEntrythatdoesnotadheretotheseEntryRestrictionsortheOfficialRulesissubject

• Ifyouarefeaturinganyperson(otherthanyourself)inyourEntrythatyouareuploading,this

uploadedVideoiftheybelievethatsuchrequiredconsenthasnotbeencollectedoriftheVideo
hasacontentthatisobsceneorotherwiseisnotsuitableforpublication.Youarerequiredto
haveallpeoplefeaturedintheEntry(ortheparentorlegalguardianforanyminors/students
depicted),completeaConsentFormandprovidethistotheSponsorortheiragenciesupon

• Entrymaynothavecontentwherethereisaresultinanyinjuryorbodilyharm,oryouare
engaginginactivitywherethereisalikelihoodofinjuryorbodilyharm.
• Entrymustnothavebeensubmittedpreviouslyinacontestofanykindorpreviouslyexhibited
ordisplayedpublicly(i.e.,disclosedbeyondyourimmediatecircleoffriendsandfamily)through

• AnyEntrydeemedinappropriateorunsuitable,inSponsor’ssolediscretion,willbedisqualified.
Entrymustnotcontainmaterialthatisinappropriate,indecent(includingbutnotlimitedto
nudityorpornography),profane,obscene,hateful,tortious,defamatory,slanderousorlibelous
(includingwordsorsymbolsthatarewidelyconsideredoffensivetoindividualsofacertainrace,
ethnicity,religion,sexualorientation,orsocioeconomicgroup).
• Entrymustnotcontainmaterialthatpromotesbigotry,racism,hatredorharmagainstany
grouporindividualorpromotesdiscriminationbasedonrace,sex,religion,nationality,
disability,sexualorientationorage.
• Entrymustnotcontaincriminalortortiousactivity,includingbutnotlimitedto,child
pornography,fraud,traffickingofobscenematerial,drugdealing,druguse,orgambling.Entry
mustnotcontainmaterialthatisunlawful,inviolationoforcontrarytoanyapplicablelocal,
state,federal,orinternationallawsandregulations.
• Entrymustnotfeaturebeer,distilledspirits(i.e.,hardliquor,maltbeverages),tobaccoproducts
(includingcigarettes,cigars,pipetobacco,chewingtobaccoandsnuff),fireworks,firearmsand
ammunitions,prescriptiondrugs,illegaldrugs,drugparaphernalia,nutritionalsupplements,
lotteriesorgambling.
• Entrymustnotcontaincontentthatisknownbyyoutobefalse,inaccurateormisleading.
• Entrymustnotviolateorinfringeanythird-partycopyright,trademark,logo,orother
proprietaryright(excludingcharities)ofanyentityorperson(livingordeceased),including,but
notlimitedtorightsofprivacy,publicityorportrayalinafalselight.Notwithstandingthe
foregoing,theEntrymaycontaintheDawnname,theDawntrademark,andtheDawntrade
dress.
• Entrymustnotmakereferencetoanycommercial/corporateadvertising(includingbutnot
limitedtocorporatelogos,brandnames,slogans,political,orreligiousstatements),orbe
otherwiseobjectionable.
ClothingwornintheEntryshouldnotprominentlyfeatureanyvisiblelogos,drawings,cartoons,
phrases,trademarksorotherthird-partymaterials,otherthanDawn.
• Entrymustnotincludeanyrepresentationorlikenessofcelebrities,athletes,musicians,orany
otherpublicorprivatefigure,anycommercialsolicitationorpromotionalmaterialsorlastname,
address,phonenumber,orURLaddress.
• Entrymustnotcontainviruses,Trojanhorses,worms,bots,spywareoranyothercomputer
codethatisintendedtodamage,interferewith,orsurreptitiouslyinterceptorexpropriateany
system,dataorinformation.
• EntrantsandallsubmittedEntriesmustbeinkeepingwithSponsor's/Dawn’simageas
determinedbySponsor,initssolediscretion,orEntrywillbedisqualifiedfromtheContest.The

• EntrantsandallsubmittedEntriesmaynotreferenceanyothercompanyorentity,including

agreestoexecutedocumentsconfirmingsuchrightandlicenseatSponsor’sreasonablerequest.
EntrantsmaynotcopyorotherwiseplagiarizeanyportionoftheEntryfromanysource.No
informationregardingEntriesorjudging,otherthanasotherwisesetforthintheseOfficialRuleswill
bedisclosed.
4. Privacy:TrustisacornerstoneofSponsor'scorporatemissionandthesuccessoftheirbusiness
dependsonit.Sponsoriscommittedtomaintainingyourtrustbyprotectingpersonalinformation
theycollectaboutyou.InformationcollectedfromEntrantsissubjecttoSponsor'sPrivacyPolicy.

5. Judging:EachsubmittedEntrywillbejudgedonorabout4/14/2017byapanelofSponsor-and
Sheddselectedjudgesbasedonthefollowingjudgingcriteria:Originality,CreativityofEntry(25%);
EnthusiasmofEntry(20%);andHowwelltheEntryanswerstheContestquestion(55%).TheEntry
withthehighestoverallscorewillbedeemedtheGrandPrizeWinner,subjecttoverification.Inthe
eventofatie,tiedEntrieswillbere-judgedbythejudgesbasedsolelyonhowwelltheEntry
answerstheContestquestion.
6. WinnerNotification:ThepotentialGrandPrizewinnerwillbecontactedbyphoneand/oremailon
orabout4/17/2017andwillberequiredtocompleteandreturn,anAffidavitofEligibility,Liability
Release,AssignmentofRightsandwherelegal,aPublicityReleaseandhavetheparents/legal
guardiansofeachofthestudentsfeaturedintheEntryandthosethatwillbeattendingtheclasstrip
andeachchaperone,completeaLiabilityRelease,wherelegal,PublicityReleaseandAssignmentof
Rightswithinfive(5)daysofnotificationattempt.Winner’sprincipalatschoolmustalsosignany
requireddocumentswhichallowwinnerandclasstoattendthe1-daytrip.Noncompliancewithin
thistimeperiodorreturnofanyprizenotificationasundeliverablewillresultindisqualificationand
analternateEntrywillbedetermined.Affidavitwillbesentviaemail/emaillinkandmustbe
returnedviaemail/emaillink.FailuretoreachanypotentialEntrantviaemailwithinthistimeframe
mayresultindisqualificationandanalternatewinnermaybedeterminedasoutlinedabove.
7. PrizeandApproximateRetailValue(“ARV”):GrandPrize(1):A1-daytriptoSheddAquariumin
Chicago,ILforthewinnerandhis/herwinningclassand5adultchaperones(tobedeterminedby
winner/principalatschool)onadatemutually-agreeduponwithwinnerandSponsorinMay2017.
TheprizealsoincludesabehindthescenestouroftheAquariumandroundtripbustransportation
to/fromschool/Aquarium.TheARVoftheGrandPrizeis$14,000.Prizeisnottransferableor
redeemableforcash.IfGrandPrizewinnerisunabletoattendondatespecifiedbytheSponsoras
agreedupon,theprizewillbeforfeitedandnoadditionalcompensationwillbeprovided.Allother
expensesandcosts,notexpresslylistedabove,including,butnotlimitedto,taxes,insurance,
personalexpenses,gratuities,entertainment,transfers,incidentalcharges,oranyotheritemsnot
specificallydescribedintheseOfficialRulesandallexpensesforanyoftheforegoingarethesole
responsibilityoftheGrandPrizewinner.Notransfer,substitutionorcashequivalentforother
portionsofprizewillbepermitted,exceptatthesolediscretionoftheSponsorduetoprize
unavailabilityforanyreason,includingbutnotlimitedto,cancellation,schedulingconflictsoran
eventofforcemajeure;and,insuchcircumstance,analternateprize/prizecomponentofequal
valuewillbeawardedandtheSponsor’sobligationtothewinnerwillbefulfilled,andnoother

Entry."Authorizedaccountholder"isdefinedasthenaturalpersonwhoisassignedtoane-mail

connections,orfailed,incorrect,incomplete,inaccurate,garbledordelayedelectronic

utilizedintheContestorbyanyhumanerrorwhichmayoccurintheContest.Sponsorreservesthe
righttocanceltheContestifanyaspectoftheContestbecomestechnicallycorrupted,and

reservestherightatitssolediscretiontodisqualifyanyindividualthattampersorattemptsto

advertising/promotionagencies,andprizesuppliers,andeachoftheirrespectiveparentandaffiliate
companiesandeachsuchcompany’sofficers,directors,employeesandagentsfromandagainstany
claimorcauseofaction,including,butnotlimitedto,personalinjury,death,ordamagetoorlossof
property,arisingoutofparticipationintheContestorreceiptoruseormisuseofprize.Each
Entrant,grantstoSponsor,itsparentcompanies,affiliates,brands,subsidiaries,successors,

(alloftheforegoing,the“LicensedEntities”)anon-exclusive,worldwide,perpetual,irrevocable,
fullypaid-up,royalty-free,fullysublicenseableandtransferablerightandlicensetouse,reproduce,
modify,adapt,publish,translate,createderivativeworksfrom,distribute,transmit,display,and
performsuchEntryMaterial,inwholeorinpartinanymedia,formatortechnology,whethernow
knownorhereafterdiscovered,andinanymannerincludingallpromotional,advertising,marketing,
publicity,andcommercialusesandancillaryusesthereof,withoutanyfurthernoticeorpaymentto
orpermissionneededfromyou(exceptwhereprohibitedbylaw).Withoutlimitationofthe
foregoing,submissionofanyEntryMaterialconstitutesyouragreementthattheLicensedEntities
arepermitted(butarenotobligated)todisplaytheEntryMaterialandfootage(ifapplicable)online
forpublicviewingand/orcomment(whetheronLicensedEntities’webpagesoronthirdpartyweb
pages),toincorporatetheEntryMaterialinonlineandofflinepromotionaladvertising,marketing,
and/orothercommercialmaterials,andtoreproduce,adaptanddistributetheEntryMaterialinall
mediawhethernowknownorhereafterdevised.
BysubmittinganEntry,youherebyreleaseanddischarge,onbehalfofyourselfandyoursuccessors,
assignsandrepresentatives,theLicensedEntitiesandeachoftheirrespectiveofficers,directorsand
employeesfromanyandallclaims,suits,actions,demands,liabilitiesanddamagesofanykind
whatsoeverarisingoutoforinconnectionwithyourparticipationintheContestortheuseofsuch
EntrybyanyoftheLicensedEntities,including,withoutlimitation,anyandallclaimsforlosses,
injury,copyrightinfringement,invasionofprivacy,violationoftherightofpublicityandpersona,
and/ordefamation.Withoutlimitationoftheforegoing,innoeventwillyoubeentitledto,andyou
waiveanyrightto,enjoin,restrainorinterferewith(i)useofsuchEntryMaterialaspermitted
hereunderor(ii)theexploitationofanyoftheLicensedEntities’rightshereunder.Youunderstand
thattheSponsorisrelyingupontheforegoingrepresentationsandwarranties,grantsofrightsand
licenses,andreleasesinpermittingyoutosubmitEntryMaterial.Youacknowledgethatyoumay
notterminateorrescindthegrantsofrightsandlicensesand/orthereleasescontainedherein.
10. GoverningLaw:TheContestandtheOfficialRulesshallbeexclusivelygovernedbyandconstruedin
accordancewiththelawsofthestateofOhio,withoutregardtoconflictsoflawprovisions.Entrants
submittoexclusivepersonaljurisdictioninOhioandagreethatanydisputeshallbebroughtinthe
stateorfederalcourtsinOhio.
