Fundraising Activities
January and February 2011
Dear Inti Directors and Officers,
I am happy to report that several recent fundraising efforts on behalf of Inti have
been successful.
First, the"Board of Director's" Drive, announced last December, whereby each person
involved with Inti was asked to contribute $100, has been completed. We raised
$1,600, with the most significant contributions coming from our President Raul Rosa,
and from the friends and associates of Board Member Bruno Victal.
Second, the poker night at Saint Anselm College ("Ante for Inti"), organized entirely by students, contributed $233 to Inti.
Third, and most significantly, the "tagging" event last weekend netted $2,465. This
was a major event that involved over 35 Inti children, 15 Inti Directors, Officers,
and Volunteers, and 20 Saint Anselm College Students. All in all, over seventy people assisted in this huge weekend-long effort. A special thanks goes to Vice President Fred Harwood, who logged countless hours of preparation during the week leading
up to the event, and then worked tirelessly all weekend to make sure the event
worked smoothly. From preparing signs, and purchasing warm mittens and hats for the
children, and communicating with volunteers, to driving children to and from the
sites all weekend. Thank you Fred, and to Jaime, Cynthia, and Bruno for your efforts
this weekend.
